Can I become a member when I register?

Yes. The first step of the account creation process is to verify your membership. If you're not a CNS member or your membership is not current, you will be given an opportunity to join CNS or renew your membership prior to registering.

I'm unable to pay by credit card. Are other payment options available?

If my abstract is accepted in the Graduate Student Presents forum, will I also present it as a poster?

No, you may present it at the GSP or in poster format, but not both.

I didn't make my reservation in time or I do not want to stay at the meeting hotel, can you provide me with discounted rates at other hotels in the area?

Yes and No. We provide rooms at a discounted rate at the meeting hotel, when these rooms sell out we will provide at least one over-flow hotel with discounted room rates. However, we can not find rooms at other hotels until those rooms are sold out.

I forgot my badge in my hotel room, can I still go in to the symposia or poster room without it.

No, you must wear a badge at all times when you attend the meeting. Return to the registration table and the staff will help you.

Can I volunteer to work at the meeting?

Yes, you can. We offer twelve student member volunteers a work exchange and their registration is free. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. To apply, please complete and submit the CNS 2010 Volunteer Application (PDF). If you have questions, please contact .
